USPS Liteblue Call In App
The Enterprise Leave Request Application (eLRA) is a system that allows USPS employees to request unscheduled leave through the LiteBlue app. To request leave, employees can:
- Log in to LiteBlue
- Select the eLRA icon in the Employee Apps section
- Follow the on-screen prompts
The eLRA app is a modern alternative to the Interactive Voice Response system. The request is securely sent to the employee’s manager, and both the employee and manager have a record of the request.
When calling in sick, employees should also specify the type of illness and how long they expect to be out. For example, if an employee has strep throat and expects to be out for two days, they should specify “illness or injury” and “16 hours”.
Employees can access LiteBlue at https://liteblue.usps.gov using their employee ID and password. The employee ID is an eight-digit number that appears at the top of the employee’s pay stub, and the password is the same as the employee’s PostalEASE password.
